The inaugural CN Agency Awards took place on Thursday 21 March 2019 at London’s Café de Paris in Leicester Square. The theme for the event was ‘The Great Showman’. Guests were welcomed by actors dressed in monkey costumes and cabaret attire, greeting attendees as they entered a venue dramatically lit in shades of purple, orange and red.
Drinks were served on arrival, followed by a three-course meal after CN editor Martin Fullard took to the stage to present the Pioneer Award to Fay Sharpe.
Throughout dinner, guests enjoyed further entertainment from the actors and dancers, featuring fire-breathing performances, circus ring acrobatics and choreographed dance routines.
