Ben is Senior Production Manager at Principal Global Events, with over 14 years’ experience across theatre, television, film, and large-scale sporting events. Having freelanced extensively before joining Principal, he brings a wealth of technical and creative production expertise to every project.
With a meticulous eye for detail, Ben specialises in designing and implementing technical systems that bring client messages to life—whether through lighting rigs, video screens, sound design, or stage layouts. His work has taken him across North America, Asia, and Europe, where he has delivered complex international events with sensitivity to local cultures and expectations.
At Principal, Ben also works closely with the Production Director to shape the in-house production department, driving innovation and advancing the use of automation. On site, his hallmark is precision—ensuring every detail, from the perfect lighting balance to the flow of the stage, enhances the overall experience.
Outside of events, Ben enjoys running, practising longsword, exploring National Trust properties, reading, carpentry, home renovation, and playing board games.
