With expertise in Virtual and Hybrid event production, Rachel's production experience has ranged from small team, virtual meetings to global broadcasts and hybrid meetings.

Since joining WRG, Rachel has produced many virtual and hybrid events, but found a natural affinity towards event platforms and technology, creating bespoke journeys which enhance the events. Leading the Platform team from an agency perspective rather than SaaS, Rachel and her team have the opportunity to work closely with the client and the delivery teams at the very early stages to really explore what is possible to make the most of the technology that is available.

Daniel has worked in the exhibition industry for over 12 years and his experience spans across three continents. Having started as a graduate at Clarion Events in 2010, he progressed quickly to Event Director and oversaw events in the Middle East and Australia.

More recently he has moved across to event technology and is now Regional Director (USA, Europe) at ExpoPlatform. He is passionate about the furtherment of event technology and whilst working in events was integral in modernising the projects he worked on, introducing matchmaking and hosted buyer technology. Now that he is on the other side of the table, he is using his event experience to help organisers develop their digital strategy with smart events and communities.

Felicia has run events throughout her career and is instrumental in delivering Cvent’s flagship annual European event Cvent CONNECT Europe.

With a passion for DE&I, She is one of the co-founders of M&IT Award-winning organisation the Diverse Speaker Bureau, is one of the FastForward15 Diversity Ambassadors and sits on the Diversity and Inclusion Council within Cvent.

It’s one thing to collect data on-site at an event, it’s another to use it to continuously improve. This session will highlight ways in which organisers can utlise data, implement new strategies and see year-on-year improvements.

Exploring tech’s role in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), this session will reveal how utilising the right tools can make events more accessible and accommodate a diverse range of delegate needs and preferences. Panellists will also share how this can positively impact the event experience.

Lizzy is the founder and director of Oddity, a boutique events agency based in London.

After graduating with a BA Hons in Event Management from the University of Greenwich in 2010, Lizzy began her career at a medical association, delivering scientific conferences and workshops in the UK and Europe. After this, she worked as an event operations specialist at Informa Group, responsible for successfully delivering events for up to 8,000 attendees.

In 2013 Lizzy took a side step to gain agency experience. She spent almost five years at a prestigious communications consultancy, Portland Communications, where she built the commercial events offering and led a team of events and marketing specialists. While at Portland, Lizzy advised some of the most recognised global organisations on their strategic live engagement initiatives, including AkzoNobel, Apple, Diageo, Google, Facebook and McDonald's.

After progressing to Head of Events & Marketing, Lizzy left Portland in 2018 to start Oddity. Since then, Oddity has grown exponentially and received numerous industry awards, including the Conference News' award for Best Start-Up Agency and the Meetings Industry Association award for Outstanding Team of the Year, both in 2020.

In 2021 Lizzy was recognised in C&IT magazine's Agency A-List, which is an exclusive selection of the top 35 under 35 agency-side event planners in the UK. In 2022, Lizzy was named by Micebook as one of the 50 most influential female leaders in the events industry.

Now with almost 15 years of experience in event management and team leadership, Lizzy works primarily with organisations that wish to use events to influence public policy and drive social change.

Lizzy is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, using her voice to encourage event professionals to include accessibility and inclusion in their core planning principles.

Lizzy has also contributed numerous articles, blogs and chapters in industry publications, including as a guest writer in Events Management: An Introduction, a textbook which explores the multidisciplinary nature of professional event management.
