Allianz Stadium remains firmly committed to environmental sustainability, taking meaningful steps across all areas of operations to drive positive change. By making thoughtful choices, both big and small, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and support a greener future. We actively encourage event planners to share their sustainability goals with our dedicated team, so we can offer tailored guidance and integrate eco-friendly practices into every event.

Here are just some of the initiatives we’re proud to champion:

• Menus featuring at least 80% seasonal British fruit and vegetables, sourced locally to reduce food miles
• A circular food waste strategy focused on ingredient efficiency, traceability, and minimal waste
• Use of high-welfare British poultry and pork, and free-range eggs as standard
• Surplus food donated to charities including Olio, City Harvest, and The Felix Project
• Food waste processed via anaerobic digestion to generate electricity and fertiliser
• Elimination of plastic straws, stirrers, and single-use sauce sachets
• BS20121 accreditation for sustainable event management
• Solar panels powering the South Stand
• Excess heat recovery systems used for heating and hot water
• Over 100 secure cycle racks and 7 electric vehicle charging points to support low-impact travel
